A personal boutique style approach to meet your needs and turn vision into reality.
WHAT IS A CAPITAL CAMPAIGN?
A capital campaign is a time structured fundraising effort to secure significant funding for a non-recurring large scale special project. A capital campaign can take on many forms but is typically for the purpose of direct ministry expansion.
For the non-profit ministry a capital campaign starts with the vision God has provided its leadership. It usually reflects the growth prospectus and beliefs of that ministry. It can be a “step out of the boat” moment of faith and spiritual growth for the people and leadership, and God uses these moments in extraordinary ways.
CCU prefers to use a “Faith Promise” style of fund-raising effort which seeks to include everyone’s participation. However, there are other multi-year “pledge” type forms that can be used.
WHAT IS A FAITH PROMISE?
A faith promise is a commitment made between the individual and God. It’s asking God
to reveal what you should commit financially to a specific project for a specified time. Then, commit by faith to keep that promise.
We use a “Faith Promise” commitment card so the individual and the church/organization have knowledge of the total amount. Upon collecting the cards, which can be done at a special service or event, we tally the cards and report what God has done.
“Faith is believing that Christ is what He is said to be, and that He will do what He has promised to do.” Charles Spurgeon

DISTINCTIVES:
1. We believe there are no two ministries alike.
God has uniquely created each individual and people group, so together we can discover the best approach to fit the situation.
2. We believe God dwells in the realm of the impossible and that He chooses to use His people.
So, we like to use the Faith Promise “soft-sell” appeal. Share the need and let God instruct his children what they should give.
3. We believe each ministry has gifted and talented individuals.
So, we would like to have you choose among yourselves those who could serve on a campaign committee (we can provide guidelines and needs).
4. We believe this is an extraordinary work of God and not man.
So, our prayer is that the body will learn, grow, and disciple one another to receive a blessing and to honor God.
5. We believe this is a special moment in time for the entire body of believers to
participate.
So, we will endeavor to create ways that all can feel comfortable to participate in some manner.
6. We believe this is an extraordinary “step of faith” by the ministry we serve.
So, we will be careful to follow Biblical guidelines in all areas of funding and reporting.

THE PROCESS
1. CCU will bring instructional materials for training, teaching, and walk step by step with the ministry committee team to accomplish the task
2. We work with the (church/organizations) ministry leadership to determine schedules, timelines, and important dates for presentations.
3. We desire to operate in the background as guides and not be a visual or vocal part of the ministry.
4. We would like to work with the finance team, with strict confidence and security, to understand the people’s giving patterns and potential.
5. We’ll provide leadership with detailed schedules and calendar for all meetings and events, along with after-action reports
6. The committee and consultant will work on the communication and message strategy to be presented for leadership approval before going out.
7. CCU will assist with the “ask” strategy and form, and then follow-up after the pledges have been tallied.
We look forward to working together and
seeing what God will do through His people for the Kingdom of Heaven.
