Capital Campaign
Role:
The CCU consultant acts as the campaign team leader working alongside the local team to do the following:
Conduct prospect research.
Manage campaign timelines.
Develop the message, theme, and communication strategy.
Provide materials, teaching, and training for the local team to lead prayer groups, small groups, and particular donor needs (large donors).
Provide senior leadership with message outlines, strategies, and approaches for the church or organization (as needed).
Create, manage, and execute events (as needed) for the campaign.
Help plan and execute “the ask”.

(for smaller sized churches or organizations)

LARGE CAMPAIGN
(for large or multi-site churches or organizations)

Congregations over 500
Amounts needed over $3 million
Consider a 3-year campaign depending on amount needed.
Note: Calendar timing should be considered, but not a prerequisite, as parts of a campaign can essentially run most anytime.

Cost Structure
CCU is a boutique-style consultant group (low overhead).

Budget conscious alternative to large consulting firms.

Specialized contract-based individuals used as needed.

On-site individual to lead team (consider 30-40 non-consecutive calendar days, CCU covers travel/lodging expenses).

CCU $55,000 ($15,000 at contract, $5,000 per month x 8 months)

Average corporate or larger consulting firm ($120,000 - $150,000 plus expenses).

No feasibility study (usually $25,000 for corporate firms) except for a wealth management look (cost covered by client, TBD by size).

Other costs: materials, graphic design (much of this can be done on site using your personal, or local low fee-based individuals).

CCU uses contract individuals as needed (cost TBD).

Dinner or event (TBD), these costs can be underwritten by a donor.
